I probably would have been much better off had I not watched that again. The first time was horrible enough...and after that? Well...we were let out of school early because of it...and when I got to my cousins' house with my mom...it was the first time I had ever been exposed to news on a continual loop. 'Round the clock Challenger coverage, made it seem beyond surreal. But then, I cannot say that after the World Trade Center was destroyed, I did not watch continual footage of that as well. No matter how many times I watched either one, the fact that it actually happened never actually dawned on me. There are days I still cannot believe it is true.
