Snow Day Fun

We ended up with about 5 inches of snow up at the Big Stupid Tompound Friday the 10th.  The forecasts were spot on.  It started snowing around 9:30 that morning, and by about 1, we had the bulk of what we'd get on the ground.  Shyam and I took Thesaurus for a small hike up through the woods.  He found one helluva stick, which made the whole affair worthwhile.

I write this on Sunday the twelfth.  I haven't left our woods in a couple days.  It's supposed to be sunny and sniff up into the 40s today, so a bit of this will melt off.  Might wander out later today...if enough doesn't melt off, I'm scheduled for a doctor's appointment, and may end up needing to reschedule it in the morning.....
