The Red Sox
I said in the bottom of the ninth with Williamson's first pitch: "They're gonna blow it."
"Not Yet," said the Lord. "It's the job of the Evil Empire to lay the smack down one more time."
There was some radio host. I don't think it was Jim Rome, though it sounds like something he might say. I kind of think it was Dan La Betard (or however you spell it), or maybe one of the Sports Brothers on ESPN radio, who opined that the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry isn't a rivalry...because it's the Yankees continually beating the Red Sox. How many times have the Yankees ruined the Sox season vs. the rare (if extant at all) times that the Sox have ruined the Yankees' season.
