Dinner

My sister and her fiance were in Nashville for part of the weekend, attending a book show. They took me to dinner tonight. Figuring we were doing the dutch thing, I tried to find a place that balanced economy with taste.

We went to La Siesta (the Nap). I had a cheese enchilada and a chicken quesadilla.

It wasn't until after the meal I found out that since they were being reimbursed for their meals and that they'd pay for mine, too.

Damn.

If I'd known that, we'd a gone to Demos' Steak and Pasta or Outback.

I coulda had me a Bloomin' Onion!
