Come backs

I was really impressed with one of my co-workers from my old job, one day, when he came back at somebody's nasty "you coulda done this" comment with the retort: "Well, I coulda been your Daddy, but the neighbor's dog beat me over the fence that night....."

It made me laugh, and I was impressed with the fella because he's not typically the clever type.

And then, I was less impressed with the guy when I heard the same retort on a Best Of.... re-run of a radio show.

Still. It was kind of funny.
